No . . . the TNT2 graphics card that you have will not do bumpmapping. You should consider upgrading your graphics card--your processor is quite fast, and your system would benefit a lot if you replaced the TNT with a GeForce or Radeon.

Radeon drivers?

I purchased a brand, spanking new machine with all the bells and whistles, plus a Radeon 9700. While the WinXP drivers that came on the CD work fine it's certainly not showing off Celestia in all of its glory (antialiasing isn't, no gloss/bump map effects, etc)

I tried installing the latest drivers from ATI's site and then my machine wouldn't reboot. Yikes! Fortunately I was able to get into safe mode and back those drivers out.

Was this just a fluke? Any advice from anyone?

Not sure about the reboot problem, but Celestia doesn't have much support for cards other than the nvidia Geforces. (Geforcii?)
