Increase time not in 10 times?

Sometime the time only can increase 2 4 8 16 32 and so on
then i close and open again. 10 100 1000 coming back
i am using 1.6.1. OS is Win7 64bit Professional
Anyone can tell me what happen?

type an "l" (lower case L) to speed-up time 10x
type shift-l (upper case L) to speed-up time 2x
type a "k" (lower case K) to slow-down time 10x
type shift-k (upper case K) to slow-down time 2x

You might accidentally have "caps lock" enabled sometimes.
