Screensaver by script, possible?

Post #1by AlexChan » 04.05.2012, 05:49

I don't have too much experience on writing wscript.
But here is the concept. Run wscript or some compile exe in the background after startup
in the script, there is a counter to detect how long that user have not use the mouse and keyboard.
if the time come to the limit, force open celetsia or run the cel script directly and press full screen button by script.
And then force close when detect mouse move or keyboard press , the counter start again.
This is the whole idea. What do you thing, is this work?

Unfortunately, I'am not at my computer; so I cannot test. Moreover I'm unaware about recent OS'es' behaviours on these matters. Renaming the celestia.exe as celestia.scr and then deal with it as were a screensaver, must be followed by the insertion of the "--fullscreen" string within its link and then should be renamed as .scr as well. Then by choosing it as screensaver through the desktop's options.
Never at rest.
