Hello my name is Samuel. I have downloaded celestia and I can confirm that it is a great program because I have learned a lot of things about the universe and its components. I speak spanish, and I can see that the program is not totally translated into my native language. I want to help translating the program into spanish. Please tell me how can I do to translate it.

Celestia 1.6.0, which should be released quite soon, includes a 100% completed Spanish translation:

Hello again. Well It's good for me to know that Celestia is now (v1.6) fully translated, but I will download the es.po file to check it. I have a question, if you say that celestia is 100% translated, it means that the help and all the name constellations and galaxies will be in spanish now?

Actually, I didn't say that Celestia was 100% translated, but that the Spanish translation was 100% completed.
So although all constellation names are indeed translated, only a few galaxy names are localized so far: Milky Way, LMC, SMC.
Please don't forget that Celestia database includes ~10000 galaxies...

Chris, what do you mean by 'complete translation' ? If you mean translating all strings from
data catalogs, the answer is of course no. That would be useless and quite impossible to achieve.
