Just after sunrise on the fifth planet in the fourth orbit around pi-3 Orionis (an ongoing example of a creative obsession :) )

Would you happen to have a tutorial on how to make fine looking class M textures like that? :D

Right now I'm either using luna cell or cutting and pasting sections from a large blue marble earth texture.

Do u use blender regularly, becouse to do it u must be quite familiar with it (specially the interface, at first blender is daunting)?

Why is it that I cannot see the image unless I enable JavaScript? What is wrong with web designers these days, that they cannot put a simple <img> tag on a page without resorting to huge bloated scripts?

Because they want to make sure you see their advertisements.
That's how they can afford to provide free hosting services.

Uploading images to shatters using the "Upload Attachment" function
might more appropriate these days.

The images size allowed is far too small.

There's no particularly good reason why you'd need JavaScript to display adverts either.

Zhar2,

You might consider using jpeg with a higher compression ratio.
I have no problems uploading 1600x1200 images like this one:

Hello ahar2, it looks very nice.
Do you think you'll make it available for Celestia? :?
I'm interested in using it, obviously giving you the credit.
Thank you.
Bye

Zhar2, I mean the 2x1 texture you applied to the model. 8)
I don't need the model itself, thank you.
