Celestia Portable 1.5.1 for USB by PortableApps.com

Post #1by JohnTHaller » 21.10.2008, 16:27

Celestia Portable 1.5.1 has been released by PortableApps.com. It's Celestia packaged as a portable app so you can run it from a USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive, etc on any Windows PC you come across with all your settings and preferences. When you're done, disconnect and no personal data is left behind. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it works with the PortableApps.com Platform/Suite along with Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition, OpenOffice.org Portable, GIMP Portable and our other apps.

It's available from the Celestia Portable homepage.

Not right now. Portable apps don't take over the local machine's file associations at the moment. We will be adding support for this into the PortableApps.com Platform, though, and then you'll be able to have Celestia Portable launch from OpenOffice.org Portable, for instance.

Nice, when will this be available? (rough estimation is fine: end this year, end 2009, middle of 2010?)
