Celestia navigation

I dont now if this has been discused before and i might be out of my place making suggestion as im not a coder, but the navigation from star to star and body to body is quite dificult and cumbersome as we need to remember or go to look for the addons, star, or system body name so we cn enter it by when enter has been pressed.

i wonder if in a far off future it could be possible for the box at the bottom when enter is pressed could be split to show where to write the destination but also a list of the installed addons and that by clicking the desired name in the list it would take you there, also another bit that would display the bodies that can be found when in a paticular system to ease navigation.

im just suggesting, please dont hate me.

I use bookmarks for this. I create a bookmark directory for each system (or other addon), then I create bookmarks in that directory for the items of interest.

Another way is to use cel:// URLs in an HTML file.

Zhar2,

Some form of Addon management has been discussed often. It's a lot of work.

In principle, someone (maybe even you!) could write a prototype in Lua so people would have something concrete to discuss.
