Celestial Phenomena : Triple Eclipse

During every century, there are 15 to 20 transits of 3 eclipses' shadow onto Jupiter simultaneously. I made a nice mosaic of the ones occuring from nov 1997 to oct 2045.

Very nice, i love these pics. If only nasa would publish some of the pictures you are posting now, so we can check how they look in reality and if they happen at all.

The 1997 one really happened and it is very accurate.

The last one is the same as the one I took but you can simulate all of them accurately. Even Io, not mentioned in the text, is visible on these pictures.

As for the next events, they are also very accurate but no pictures have been issued yet !

(The only thing Celestia doesn't do here is the light time delay. Therefore the actual time of these events are slightly different: From 30minutes to 45minutes depending on the earth-jupiter distance)
