being able to freely choose the background color in celestia would be a *very* useful thing.
adding one feature would spare many users repeatedly doing de-black-backgrounding work...
of course one can work around a black background in image manipulators, but -- as soon as you have more complex and filigrane structures [like for example my globus cassus (http://www.waldvogel.com/celestia)] -- it gets very annoying and sometimes is not possible to achieve satisfying results. don't even think of animations.
allowing to set celestia's background to green or blue would enable us to use it for compositing in animation, white for schemes, black for realistic viewing.
i would appreciate this feature very much.
