The SAO cross-index
Out of interest, how was the SAO cross-index generated? I can't seem to find any published cross index database between HIP and SAO.

I/196 Hipparcos Input Catalogue, Version 2 (Turon+ 1993)

All the cross id's (HD, BD, SAO,...) are in there
What's the problem, it's just the HIP 2 catalog, columns 386-391?I can't seem to find any published cross index database between HIP and SAO.

Ah I only checked the Hipparcos OUTPUT catalog, which doesn't have this data... thanks for the info.
