Celestia should have a logo

Hi all,
I was looking at the wikipedia page as well as here. Celestia doesn't seem to have a logo for the application. While I'm no graphic artist I have few suggestions :-

1. Have a contest for a logo
1. Make the logo as an .svg file to start of with so people could print it on t-shirts, banners etc. Would make for mass appeal/outreach exercise.
3. Put the logo under some creative commons license. Something to the tune of CC-SA-A (Creative Commons-ShareAlike-Attribution) or no Derivatives something like that.

Note:- I have been observing the changes Celestia has been making from side-lines last couple of years & it has been really great to see how the community has been building around it. Kudos to the developers :)

All suggestions, flames all welcome :)

Haha, nice. We can have a whole Celestia cult!
An interesting idea, but I don't think it will go far, if anywhere at all outside this thread. I mean seriously, Celestia T-Shirts?

It's quite crazy...

... o_O So crazy it must might work...

... but too well. I would fear the onslaught of newcomers to the this forum. I have nothing against them, of course, but to have them pooling in and making this forum hyperactive with thousands of visitors at any given time would be... interesting. And a problem for the moderator.

Celestia will one day rule the world, replacing Microsoft or Google or whoever. But we need to take little steps.
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

That looks like the logo alright, anybody knows under what copyright has the logo been filed? If its under a free/copyleft license then I could upload the same to wikipedia . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celestia

Comments, suggestions, flames all are welcome.

Actually, that's not a logo at all as far as I know. That's Celestia's
opening "Splash" page image. Is a splash page the same thing as a
logo?

The logo is just a slightly-modified rescaled version of the splash screen.

Celestia has a logo.

Here is a picture of the logo in the shortcut of my desktop.
