Can the log file that can be viewed in celestia by [~] [return], be retrieved and edited in notepad ++ (for example)

Hi gironde. Only in 1.7 with Qt interface. You can run it as "celestia-qt --log celestia.log" and console will be duplicated into celestia.log.
