32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later

The latest version of Celestia won't run on the latest Mac 64-bit platform. When attempting to run the latest public release of Celestia, Apple informs the user that [the] "transition to 64-bit technology is now complete. Starting with macOS Catalina, 32-bit apps are no longer compatible with macOS."

Are there any plans to implement/update the various libraries, allowing the latest release of MacOS to work? I'm running macOS Catalina v 10.15.2.

The user requirements posted in this forum suggest to the user that the "latest version of the operating system" is in place for optimal performance.

astrodr, a 64-bit version of Celestia has been available since October of last year - see this thread (which is also pinned to the main page of the forum). The "Download" page of the website still hasn't been updated, possibly because the new version is still a beta (all that's left to do is data updates, which we're working on right now).

Celestia versions 1.4.1, 1.5.0, 1.5.1, 1.6.0, and 1.6.1 should still work under High Sierra and Mojave since both support 32-bit still. I know that the post says Catalina, but why is High Sierra mentioned in the post title?
