Kinda like the addon(s) at the motherlode:
http://celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/s ... on_id=1015
However, I would rather not download 2.6 gigabytes of data that I'm simply never going to use just to do that or just to learn how to do it myself, with spacecraft of my own design.
I'm mainly interested with just locking a mesh to the viewpoint in standard 1.6.1, preferably an outside view.
So, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
How do I make the "cockpit" effects on my own?

Re: How do I make the "cockpit" effects on my own?
where is that 2.6 gig coming from ?
not too long ago i checked a "cockpit add-on" - it did not work
all you need is the current lua tools
and the OLD cockpit add on
and a bit of hacking
the old cockpit was removed from the current lua tools
but as i recall was not to hard to put back in
