Hello all.
This is all new to me, so sorry for any stupid questions!
Is it possible to alter the startup position, so that instead of looking at Earth upon startup, you are looking out from earth?

Dear Steve,

welcome to the Celestia forums.
Basically, all you have to do is to modify the "InitScript" start.cel according to your preferences.
The file can be found in your celestia root directory. It contains also some instructions about the commands you could use.
