Strange Celestia error message from Vista user

Hi all. One of the educational activity users in Mexico has encountered this error message when trying to launch Celestia-ED:

"Error at starting application. Parallel configuration isn?t correct. Consult application events to get details"

He is using Windows Vista. He installed Celestia into C:/Program Files/Celestia160-ED

The message appears when clicking on the app directly, or when clicking on any of the launch files that are used in the educational version.

Any ideas? I suspect this might be a Vista related problem, but ... :?

Thanks in advance

Frank

Dunno if it helps anything, Frank, but my Celestia application is installed in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Celestia

This is necessary in order to run Celestia as a 32-bit application.

Thanks, Brain-Dead

Thanks guys for the replies. I contacted the user who says he is running a single monitor. He also claims he had Celestia141-ED on the PC some time ago, and it worked OK.

I've asked him to reinstall into C:\Program files (x86), and see what happens. Is there anything different about Celestia 1.6.0 that would prevent it from working on Vista, when Celestia 1.4.1 worked OK?

Well, he tried installing into C:\Program files (x86), and still got the same error message. I've now suggested he try installing the Celestia 1.6.0 default program (non-educational) and see what happens.
