Really Bleeping annoying line + other problems

I've started using Celestia 1.60, and there's a red line that seems to be a reference point of some sort. I find it extremely bloody annoying. Is there ANY way to get rid of it?
Also, the Inclination declaration doesn't seem to be working for .ssc files.

By default, when never before installed, v1.6.0 causes the plane of the ecliptic to be drawn.
This bug is described in
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13376Chris wrote:The red line is the ecliptic. There's no control to toggle it in the Windows version (and it's too late to add one for 1.6.0). I'm not sure why it's showing up. You can run this one line script to get rid of it:
Code: Select all
celestia:setrenderflags{ ecliptic = false }
--Chris
The Inclination parameter works fine for me.
You'll have to post a copy of the SSC catalog entry which is causing problems.

The script doesn't work. Could you upload it as a seperate file?
And the inclination turned out be working fine... I guess I just made a mistake.

If mistakes happen in your case, why not complaining "a little softer" about bugs that are NO bugs? ... Don't forget the developers and a number of experienced testers are examining a new Celestia distribution "to the bones" before a new release is made available.

Sorry, but if I'm not mistaken, the person is complaining about the red ecliptic line which we
found initially after 1.6.0 was first released.
The solution to this problem can be found
HERE.
