Is there a kind of ruler in Celestia to measure distances in Light Years?

Thanks.

I made some graticules a long time ago which can give you some idea of the scale of things, but I don't think they can be used for measuring things very accurately. See http://www.lepp.cornell.edu/~seb/celest ... cules.html

Celestia will display the distance between any two stars in its GUI if you GoTo one of them and then Select the other one. Once you're at a star, the StarBrowser menu shows the distances to as many as 500 other stars. You can sort that display by selecting its column headings.
