The "liblua.dylib" file is located inside the OS X application itself. I guess it's all the library that Celestia needs to run LUA, isn't ?

I paste the files config.lua and lua_edu_tools.lua from the folder educational-extras\general\lua_edu_tools in the folder educational-extras\general\lua_edu_tools\tools and then - wow - no fatal error appears.
Maybe this solve your problem.
