[beginner] How to easily get 2 given objects aligned in the same view ?

Hi,

I'm just beginning with Celestia and currently learning the navigation controls. I'm mostly OK, except one thing :

Assuming I've selected the Moon and typed "G", I have now the Moon at the foreground in the view. I now want to have the Earth in the backgroung.

Orbiting the Moon (more or less) randomly using the mouse (right click+drag) is not very effective (OK it can do to find the Earth, which is reasonnably big seen from the Moon, but not really for smaller objects).

If I select the Earth (by entering the name), nothing in the view tells me in which direction I should orbit to find it. If I press "C" OK I can find it, but loosing the Moon most of time.

So : how can I easily point to the Earth, still viewing the Moon in the foreground ?

Thanks,

This message was posted 10 days ago, waiting approval from the moderation. By the meantime I've finally found the solution : lock the view angle between the two objects with ":"
