How did you move it? .. or did you do a fresh install onto the laptop? Bookmarks are written to a file called favorites.cel in the main Celestia folder. Did you copy that file across? Fresh install. Now that you mention it, thoes maps do resemble Pluto.

Hmmm, this sounds a little farfetched but if an asteriod hit it at such a shallow angle, it could have glanced off the surface. Thus taking a huge chunck with it.

OK, so I had been running Celestia 1.6.0 on my XP without any problems untill I moved it to my laptop which uses Windows 7. Everytime I open Celestia, my bookmarks are totaly gone, even the folders. My graphics card is GeForce GT 230M. Thx
