Ok. My knowledge of C++ is pretty basic and I am still learning. Would it be possible to detect impact with or landing on planet surfaces? Currently, you just fly through a planet if it is in the way. I realise there would be no data for the 'surface' of the planet, but I just wondered if anyone had...

Hi Still playing around and trying to get used to the functions etc. My problem... I will be wandering around space and then my Solar System browser list will go blank, my Goto Object box won't work and neither will my Select object box. Hello all.
This is all new to me, so sorry for any stupid questions!
Is it possible to alter the startup position, so that instead of looking at Earth upon startup, you are looking out from earth?
