hello my problem is : i read somewhere that dss files are smaller so, more portable etc... i have the photoshop plugin to save a file in dss format but the results are way bigger than the original ( ie : i have a 8k night texture , in jpg the size is 3 Mo, and in dss it comes to 21 Mo !!! ) the weir...

hello rass, hem did you know if there is a way to make images that are more than 30000 pixels large with photoshop ??? i'm always stop to this resolution... not easy for the ultra high res ;p

hop, just re-read the changelog, this feature was aded to celestia 1.2.2

yeah, i tested on a geforce2 mx on a friend's computer ;p but what i don't understand is why the limits occurs only on the clouds ...... before the entering of the mipmap on the celestia engine, it happened for all the texture, and now, all is ok, but the clouds .... really weird .... it's a little ...

hello everybody not really a bug, but i wondered if the clouds map was mip mapped like the earth map, cauze, with any resolution map i use ( fre 1k to 8k), there is always the same " blurry" resolution on screen. this don't happen with the earth map, where i can see uge difference betwen maps fros d...

it'seem you're talking about the "twin shadow" problem i spoke of time ago ( with the apearance of eclipses shadows ;p)
its like to appear with any graphic cards if you set an ambient light...
maybe chris can tell us more about that...

mtrox g450 bugs...
hellow everybody juste tried te preview at wook with the g450 .... a brief try i don't know how, but, the g450 seems to do the all the night lights stuff inverted !!! like i said before, the lights are inverted and appears black, and the rest is bright, i need to invert the texture with photoshop......

hellow just tried your plugin, i put the scc file in the extra directory and it worked fine for me.... couple of questions: what kind of planet is extaris ?? weird color some bugs : the crosshair effect on the eclipse shadow is there :/ whas resolved for jupiter, i'm lost is it normal that theri isn...
