Ok, I finally got the nerve up and released my favorite addon thus far...I hope you like it.

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
Just downloaded it...very nice. How would I fix it so that it's in The Galaxy?

To quote Shaggy, "Zoiks!" Quite the ambitionist! Sounds by far anything I could have hoped to achieve....Congrats!

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
I'd be willing to bet it will be quite large...
And thank you for your compliment (although, I still like the original version of it a little better.)

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
Just when I was getting the hang of it too!!! You'll have to let us know how its coming, or better yet, release ea. section (Deep Core, Inner Core, Colonies, etc.) Or (since you're more committed to accuracy on this one than me) release by sector (so that way you don't have gigantic size a...

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
Ok, I'm getting it a little more sorted out, and what I'm shooting for is doing several clusters (stars only). It's not quite ready yet...but I'm getting close. BTW, Rasillon's Generator (which is quite wonderful) creates a lot of R and S stars. Any way of adjusting the parameters/spectral types and...

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
Ok, something very annoying is going on here....I enter the coordinates, and the cluster gets placed far, far away from The Galaxy. (And yes, I made sure the dec was in the negative.)
Actually, I spent a little time with it yesterday trying to sort it out...no dice.

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
Last night I was trying to use the Generator, but I have a few questions...
1) What are the exact coordinates used for the SWG?
2) How many stars do you want in it?

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
My apologies to Plutonian Empire for comandeering the thread and turning it into a discussion about other stuff...The addon featured at the beginning of this thread actually puts the Star Wars Galaxy in visual range from Earth....the only draw back is that it isn't populated... Would using the Clust...

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
Just tell me where you want 'em! On another note, aside from PaintShop and PhotoShop, what else will LunarCell work with? (Sorry to hijack for a moment.)

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
Actually, your Klingon texture didn't look too bad...I thought I had a better cloud texture than that, so I'll have to see what I've got and noodle a little more...

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
As far as accuracy goes, my teacher always encouraged us for "pretty darn close." I settled on approximate location for the only I made add-on for the SWG...the Kaelta System, featuring the planet Toola, home of the Whiphids... toolashot.jpg I know my texture skills aren't the greatest, (I...

Re: The Star Wars Galaxy
This isn't a bad idea...how would I move textures and planets (like the Coruscant and Endor add-ons) to the appropriate galaxy? The addon from the ML has them orbiting Rho CrB...

Re: Genetica
And to throw my question on top of his...is LunarCell used in conjuction with PhotoShop? I think I remember looking at it before, but I can't remember if that was a plug in for it or not. At anyrate, I'll try and get something really slick together for an eventual add-on... By the way, how many diff...
Re: Genetica
I can't take the credit...I just used them. The top one is one that comes with the program as you see it (globe). The other two are more usable textures.
