Re: Could Pluto have a giant gash in it?
Assuming Charon was formed in a similar way as our moon, it could have been the impact of a "dwarf planetesimal" or large asteroid. The impact debris could have formed Charon. It also *might* (although unlikely) explain the drastic color (and thus probably material) differences on Pluto's ...

Re: Canopus System - Dune
Yes, I used Venus to create the gold lines on both moons, it has a nice effect in my opinion when added with some saturation. Also thanks for the feedback,I'll fix those things. Also I do have facplanet and that other generator, but for some reason I can't compile them Would it be possible for you (...

Canopus System - Dune
This includes the Canopus system from the book "Dune" along with hundreds of generated asteroids and comets. It includes six planets and eight moons. Information about the planets was taken from the Dune wikia page but was altered to be more physically accurate. Also includes the white hol...

Re: Planet maps - rocky
It might just be my compiler (GCC through Code::Blocks) or my OS (Win7 64), but whenever I compile planet.c and run the resulting exe a command prompt window pops up and a second later it starts beeping and flashing seemingly random symbols.

Re: Selected Object text off-screen
I have a new computer running Windows 7 with 16:9 too. The way I fix that is pressing the maximize button.

Re: Far Galaxies and New Stars
Thanks, I was wondering why none of my 3D models showed texture.
Also, I'm working on a new version which has more galaxies, corrected axes and angles and corrected Right Ascension.
NOTE: I will post the new version tomorrow. It includes many billboards.

NormalMap Mixes With Texture & Atmosphere Glitch
I'm using Windows 7 64 bit and have had the following bugs:
1. Normalmaps (even non-VTs) show as well as the main texture (there is a purple-ish tint).
2. For some reason, the Moon's NormalMap shows (as a NormalMap AND a texture) on Earth.
3. Earth's atmosphere is completely white.

Re: Dinari Galaxy Cluster
I just did, you should add more units of measurement and allow for an effect of the orbiting body on the period of the orbit.

Re: The Tarazed System, v0.9
I agree! I have absolutely no idea how you made those textures so unique, the best I can do in photoshop is make a bunch of blurs.
