@danielj
really... not bad.

danielj,
the Nasa picture is too small. But in principle you could work it out by using the polar coordinates-filter, then:
copy to a new layer, mirror, merge the two layers and make your own improvements...

Re: lua tools - bug
Hey John :) i guess you are talking about my cockpit add-on...? is there something to fix? Or should I improve something? Concerning the "lua"- file... I'm using Jo?l's version (with "key" to change the dashboards). It works very well... (Un)fortunately I'm very busy with my work...

Re: Who wants to kill the forum?
Hungry4info, Fora (like shatters or CelestialMatters) are nothing else than a reflection of our world. Look around: The world is full of trolls. You find them at work, in the office or inside your TV. You can't ban them all. The only thing we can do is to ignore them. On the other hand... each one s...

Re: Who wants to kill the forum?
Well, actually I have currently no spare time for Celestia. But all this is annoying me. Last news: Cham is banned and olyv=argelesmer=lodgy is still here. This is the absolute victory of the trolls of this forum with the help of the administrators. It is really unbearable and this is my last post i...

If you are using photoshop (maybe an older version) or software which can handle .8bf files search for "elimblac.8bf".

Massimo,

No need to apologize. Many misunderstandings are due to my own insufficient English.

Re: LUAPLUGINS: Distance Calculator
No. But i guess you want misunderstand me. A teacher - and scientists are teachers - should not use the vocabulary of the student. This is the way of advertisement industries and radio & television... They use very often "Street Slang". Just to get a wider audience and as a consequence...

Re: LUAPLUGINS: Distance Calculator
Oh, i think you have misunderstood me. Not the meaning of the words but rather the inappropriate language are bothering me quite a bit. i tried to say that i am surprised about some terms and definitions about unresearched things in science. "Dark matter", "Dark Energy", "Da...

Re: LUAPLUGINS: Distance Calculator
So, my question is: is there also a possibility for a measurement over great spatial distances? Large scale structures... E.g.: filaments, galaxy-clusters...? They are made up of point sprites, thus there is not "cord lenght" upon proper points. You don't start from "zero" but f...

Massimo, just download your add-on. Cannot test it, because my old computer is crashed. And the new machine isn't accordingly configured yet... - by the way, do you know what is the latest version of Celestia and where can i download it...? here? or somewhere else...? - So, my question is: is there ...

It is totally fine, and it's not just about gaming,... Really? Please take a look at the clip once more; the developper himself speaks that " this is specifically made and designed for gaming... " ...it's about simulating the world. People have been doing that ever since they painted anim...

Brave New World...
For me this describes a nightmare vision of the near future.
But I also fear this will happen. And many, I say many people will like it!
Give the people bread and games and make them dumb.
And boredome will turn into dullness.

Re: Beware the trolls
I fear this is not the right solution. As we could see in the past. Better we follow Jo?l. His advice; do not feed, ignore him... @olyv: you're not stupid. Therefore the day will come when you'll realise what a poor person you are. Please change your habits. This would be better Not just for us but ...
