Hmm...does celestia support animated *.gif files?

Wouldent using a file sharing network like bitorent work even better?
The first few downloads would be slow, but after the network became saturated it would be no big deal

I finaly got all the add-ons I was sent up-loaded , only to find out I was missing 3 .
I am missing: "Coruscant", "venusclouds3", "celestia_sounds", and "pluto_textures"

When I get all the add-ons I'll start on the gallery (it realy needs to be restarted from scrach )

Why are your new tiles smaller size (Level 3 is 16MB) and your ald times much larger(Level 3 is 64MB)? It seems odd that a better textur is smaller in size .

That 16k specmap is way better than the 8k one that I had befor, it has rivers, and it dosent make my 128k islans look washed out.

On the windows 2000 computer I tested celestia on Celestia stoped working after installing SP4, and only worked again after installing SP5 (Beta Version)

I know exaktly whats wrong

Your using windows 2k SP4, that service pack makes celestia buggy,

So there are two things that you can do:
1.Reinstalling celestia sometimes helps
2.Upgrading to SP5 will fix it

It would probobly be to buch strain on the video card, even a top of the line video card

how about suporting .MAX format?

Does anybody have any of the modles from MST3K?
