You're talking about, if you look "up" in the first pane a certain amount, the second pane looks "down" a corresponding amount as if the camera was mounted to the back of the observer? I guess that's what I mean, although I cannot interpret "a certain amount" properly ...

I wonder if it is possible to have two panes open, and keep the two views from the same observer position. I mean this: when I use Celestia to fly around Saturn for example, I like to have both the front view and at the same time look back. That is only possible with a split window, if the observer ...
