Three other things to try, all of which are mentioned in the FAQ: 1. switch to Basic render mode. Type a Ctrl-V several times until you see Basic (or the italian equivalent) flash on the screen. Does that help? Yes this helps a grat lot, now I see all the planets with the textures in the right way....

I did every step that you told me...but after selecting the "medres" the screen is still messed up as you can see in this picture:
