Re: Closing of my Site : Celestia Add-Ons
Ok, so in fact the site will stay accessible here arnaud.macron.free.fr/indexold.php in case (i doubt) some information will be there and not on motherload or on your site. In any case I don't think that any link should be done to it for the reason given in my first post. Thank you for yo...

Closing of my Site : Celestia Add-Ons
Hello all, This little message just to inform you that I am closing the Celestia Add on Site today ( http://arnaud.macron.free.fr ). I hope it has been usefull (when it was updated  ). Now, with the motherload, this site is pointless and it make people loose time rather than giving them an acc...

addon request : a football map !
hi all, it's always hard to explain to people distances in the universe. I remember a read a book few years ago where the author was comparing sizes and distances with common object and distances on earth. With this purpose would it be possible for exemple to create an addon with the image of a foot...

Re: V 1.3.2 pre8: OpenGL vertex program non available
thank you, now it works fine. A copy of Selden notice in the pre8 thread : None of the new shader routines are included with pre8 texphong_arb.vp texphong_nv.fp bumpdiffuse_nv.fp diffuse_nv.fp are all missing. Until pre9 is available, they can be downloaded from http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py...

Re: V 1.3.2 pre8: OpenGL vertex program non available
Hi Selden, I was not clear (again :-) !!!) It happends after intalling pre8, i have reinstalled pre7 to see if that was doing it before without i noticed it but it work fine with the pre7 except it was a very light installation without any addons excepted the mars VT one. The problem is that with so...

V 1.3.2 pre8: OpenGL vertex program non available
hello, Everything is in the title. I can only switch between basic and multitexture. I have reinstalled the pre7 and it works. But as I have a lot of add-ons I have to work on some files in the data folder (solarsys.ssc for example) so maybe it could come from there. I'd like to know if I am the onl...

Re: my first .cel script
Thanks DoS, it works find now.
About the atmosphere feature, would it be possible to have a "sunrise" or "sunset" feature ? By this I mean that the script would land you on the surface and show you the sun falling (or rising) in 15 sec. for exemple ?

Re: my first .cel script
Hello DoS, Ok, it worked with the following line "explore solarsys_locs.ssc <solarsys.ssc> essai.cel" . A 558ko .cel file in less than one seconde !!! That's great ! Thanks. About a free compiler, it seems that there is one included in the perl distribution but that's to complex for me. On th...

Re: New Doc !! movements/ selection modes/views/ coordinate syst
Hello Jean-Pierre, just a little remark, as your pages are in French you could maybe put a link to the French documentation on Celestia main site or even better do a link to documentation page where people will be able to find translation made in theire own language (and there is a very good one in ...

Re: my first .cel script
Hi DoS, For those non-unix havent-heard-of-perl people out there, A search on SourceForge will turn up several easy-to-install versions of the Apache web server for Windows, which can include perl (among others). I think there are also some perl-only installations for Windows, somewhere out there ....

Re: Feature request - show orbit for marked objects only
Hm, as far as I have understood Gordon, ... Thank you trying doing it ! I was definitevely not clear :? In fact, I didn't gave a good example. What I'd like to be able to do is to mark 3 or 4 objects and display orbits only for these objects (obviously this will also work for a single object if nee...

Feature request - show orbit for marked objects only
Hi !
It would be very handy if it was possible to show orbits only for marked bodies.
For example, when you look at a specific saturn moon today and want to see its orbit, all the other moons orbit are also printed which makes things very confused (to much blue lines !).

hello everybody, Here's a previous incarnation of the addon database: http://arnaud.macron.free.fr/recherche.php Might be helpful for the new version, I don't know... Most of my addons are listed, but I only added 2 or 3 myself, not sure how the others got there...! :? Anyway, it only has a few user...
