Re: random minor body
Random Minor Bodies... I'm remembering the debates about Pluto, and the "Minor planets" status. There are tons of these bodies in the Kuiper Belt. (Many years ago, I signed, with many, many people, on the "New Horizons" cd, that the probe carry in this aera, just now. This was my...

Re: In support of conspiracy theories... ;-)
It has nothing to do with any conspiracy and a lot to do with the cost of production. Hi Selden, I don't know if this doc have be translated -and diffused- in English, but there was an extraordinary docu(mentary) Fiction by William Karel, called "Op?©ration Lune" in French (2002), that explains the...

Re: "When Worlds Collide"
I"m talking about the book that was written in 1933 by Philip Wylie and Edwin Balmer, so yeah, probably. Hello, as i have some difficulties to read in English, I have not read the sequel (this one wasn't translated in French ), is it as so interesting that the first book? BTW, the Rudolph Mat?© 195...

Re: Pulsars PSR J0737-3039 A and B binary !
The addon is finished (can you confirm ?). Install into you Extras folder, type PSR J0737-3039 AB in Celestia, then go ! Feedback would be appreciated. Seems it works well for me. So, as his coordonates are more accurate than the animation, we can't see the jets of the two neutron stars in the same...

I wasn??t aware of this discussion... But here??s my two cents... Which spacecraft do we think need to be included? I mentioned a few obvious ones: Cassini, Galileo, Voyager 1 and 2, Pioneers 10 and 11. What else? Apollo 11 might be neat if we could get trajectories for it.--Chris Hello Chris, maybe must we search first for the historical ones, Sputnik 1, 2, Vost...

Re: Thanks to All! Script and Manual Completed!
For example it is possible to dock and undock to one of ISS's docking ports using this script. I was wondering what the forum thought of this idea? ... Hello, not a real dockable function as the spaceflight sim "Orbiter" does, but a quite nice approximation is tested with the work-in-progress addon...

No textures, as this may be part of the official distribution. I've just added the NASA logo and rotated the panels. Yes it must be a light model, alas... Do you have a look on the nice pictures frank Gregorio proposed in the addons forum? http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/creators/fsgregs/spacecra...

Chris, I only know two models of the HST : the official version and Jestr's one. I'll try to do one myself. I had noticed another crude one (Paolo Angeli) and 3 hight detailled ones, the bigger and nicer by Jestr, yes. http://jeam.tag.free.fr/CELESTIAhtml/CelestiaAddons-Spacecrafts-Satellites2.htm ...

Your connection is theoretically ~ 18 times faster than mine and that obviously makes a positive difference. Yes, but theorical: depending of the pipes -some problems some hours- and the number of other up/downloads running on the same connection at home. What sort of resolution were you able to vi...

Just out of interest, how much faster is your connection than 56K? (It sounds like you got quite a good performance at a peak time.)
