installing Blue Marble Next Generation 64K VT

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to install this earth version, and based on PC's capabilities is it even worth installing it? since its a 64k version and my PC is a couple of years old.

Re: Anyone creating a new ISS model?

We need a new ISS model for the Celestia base package. The current one is out of date, very crude looking, and has depth buffer artifacts when rendered. I'd like something not more than about 500k and compatible with the GNU Public License under which Celestia is distributed. bh, does your model me...

simple as that :)

Re: galaxies are weak/ invisible

Thats pretty rad but it seems to work better by turning automagnitude OFF, and turning up the magnitude to 15, though the galaxies them selves are not visible when Galaxy labels are turned on you see thousands of galaxies!

thanks for you help

Re: planets skins are not attached

I uninstalled Celestia and found a couple of "left over files" deleted them and reinstalled, it no longer crashes when i reach the earth and pressing Control + V and settin...
