Help!! Ive just downloaded celestia 1.5.1 on my new vista PC and it wont let me save ssc files that i try to edit under notepad. Is there sumfin i need to do so it will let me save edited ssc files?????

Oh WOW!! Ok i agree with everyone else thats its not a realistic image of the sun in visable light, but thats exactly what a red dwarf would look like!!! Finally a realistic red dwarf texture, yey!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so downloading this texture, please make available soon!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sure the resident scientists will like it too, they will probably give you some helpful critism. I still think its cool anyway, but of course as it is your texture, you should release it to us when 'your' happy with it so take all the time you need

Cool, if i knew how to make the addon and make the code for it e.t.c. i would have a go my self, unfortunatly all i can really do is mess with textures, atmospheres, stars, planets and moons. Don ur terraformed mars texture so far is......well just W-O-W! Cannot wait till its complete! although i think i would have to download the smallest size texture as my pc is so lame

Hmmm... does seem like an interesting addon Tuefish, although im my spare time im working on exosolar planets around other stars, making their own textures and atmospheres based on what we know and theroretical science, and it would be a real help to have an addon that could be applyed to any star, ...
