I've fixed my problem,
I had Celestia 1.5.1 running so I uninstalled it and got 1.6.0. The problem is now eliminated!

Hi Cham,
Is there any way to fix this depth sorting problem or is there another topic about this that I can read on?
Cheers.

Re: Intel GMA 945 problem.
http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll301/mnoobus/stars.jpg Sorry about the image size. This error only shows when any star is in a corner of my screen. I might be wrong but it looks like a lighting problem. In the image you can see a bit of the star texture and, to the right, a section of a brighte...

Hi John,
No I haven't got Limpus Light on my acer, it came installed with Windows XP SP3. I am however going to get Ubuntu Netbook remix for it though.

Thanks hungry,
Its a shame that the clouds are painted onto the texture, the textures themsleves are nice, I think if I could brush them up, I could make use of them

Re: MINI TUTORIAL: how to eliminate the PINCH effect at poles
One thing I would love to know is whether or not this "pinch" can be removed in a later Celestia version.. or will it always be there?

Re: Uncharted Worlds
Hungry, I actually do take this as constructive advice and will work on a better texture set for this system :), so this topic should NOT be locked as I may post future releases and links to improve this system and for future systems. What I released was a beta or w.i.p of the system to see if the c...

Uncharted Worlds
Hello all I am starting an add-on for Celestia called Uncharted Worlds which is set in the Orion Arm in The Milky Way. It is set from 2099 AD to 2199 AD, a time when mankind has already made travel in space possible. The add-on is focused around a collection of stars known as "The Local Collect...

Hungry4Info,
Yes i did do that and it didn't let me see the Moon. I have just got 1.5.1 Celestia, so I am going to mess around with it in that.

Re: System Creation Problem
Selden, I changed the colour values to their correct properties and also removed the apostrophes and spaces. I replaced the spaces with underscores however the moon still isn't being drawn in Celestia for me. The one thing I didn't mention in my previous post was the version of Celestia I am running...

Asteroid Model Question
Hi I have recently been trying out a program called anim8or to create asteroids and the results are very good. However I have one problem... I have obtained a script that Selden wrote which changes Anim8or files into CMOD ready for use in Celestia. I export the model to a CMOD and I find that 2 file...
