Excuse me for getting a little testy, but if you can't have these files
universally downloadable to all, you shouldn't continue promoting
these files if you can't actually make them available for download.

The link still doesn't work.
I get a page in French, then it goes back to your download

Also...
Also - I also don't get - I've tried "NGC2244" or "NGC2237" and
even "HIP500000" (after hitting enter) so I can go to these
supposed nebulae, and it doesn't come up? I really must be
missing something here.

Celestia - the best computer software - of any kind - on Earth! I don't get it. I downloaded your files, and the programs, and I can't come up with any colored nebulas or anything within Celestia. Is there a step by step instruction for making this happen in Celestia. I've only been asking for color...

Re: What's the story with solarsys.ssc every new version?
sometimes the ssc issued with the program has some changes that are mandatory for orbits and others things to look more correct. you can just copy over your old one, but you may miss out on some fixes that you don't know about or wernt publically released into the forum That's not what I mean. What's the story with solarsys.ssc every new version?
Celestia - the best software of any kind on the planet. Chris - Question - Can I keep the solarsys.ssc file from earlier versions so I don't have to re-write changes once again? i.e. does 1.3.0 pre 2 or 3 solarsys.ssc file work fine in pre 4 - and will it work for final version? How come you're not ...

I try to keep up with the forum religiously, but maybe I
missed something - is there supposed to be galaxy or
nebula color appearing in the latest version? I don't see
any now.

That would be ideal!
While you're at it, put -w or something like that to
denote Celestia starting up in the current desktop
resolution. If you like.
