Re: Anyone creating a new ISS model?
Thanks all for helping me out. I won't take too much praise though, I didn't create the model. I just took the complete model and jettisoned the parts that aren't there yet!

Re: Anyone creating a new ISS model?
Thanks. I just want to make sure I'm not guilty of any copyright infringement. I'm using Andrew Farnaby's model which is posted on Bob Hundley's website. Do I have permission to upload the modified model?

Re: Anyone creating a new ISS model?
Okay, I used the full ISS model from bh's website and "unberthed" the parts so it looks roughly as it would after STS-124. Is there someone I can send the .3ds model to for posting? Thanks!

Re: Anyone creating a new ISS model?
Hey guys, the models look absolutely fabulous, thanks so much for taking the time to update them! Does anyone have time to do current updates as the missions progress according to the new assembly schedule? One interesting note, both the sts120.3ds and issnov07.3ds open fine in Celestia, but I canno...

Re: Anyone creating a new ISS model?
Will the new model be posted on the main celestiamotherlode website or will you put it somewhere else? Hello cartrite... yes... for the issjune07t (for truss) I had to re-link the tex files to the jpegs. They should ALL be in lower case. There may be referals to BMPs for the model that were not need...

Re: Anyone creating a new ISS model?
Actually, the active side of the arrays have a bluish hue and the substrate (backside) are an orange in color. Now if you could set up the model so the arrays track the sun... Thanks for being willing to update the model! I will try to update the current model before the end of the mission. I've fin...

Anyone creating a new ISS model?
Just wondering if anyone has or would be willing to make a new model of the ISS as it will appear after STS-120 mission with the relocation of the P6 truss and Harmony node.
3DS Max version would be great. Thanks!

Re: Textures on models
Got it to work. I used the eyedropper tool to click on the parts, and it then told me what texture was supposed to be there. I then had to relink the bitmaps. A little time consuming but it's done. Thanks!

Re: Textures on models
Basically the model and the textures are in one folder, it's the ISS and texture pack. When I import into 3d Studio Max, the model shows up fine, but none of the textures are applied. I would hate to have to put them all on manually, I was just wondering if there was a way to get them to show up on ...
