Yeah, first thing I did indeed was search the forum. Duly RTFM'ed, but to no avail. Looks like most of the guys simply forgot to install according -devel packages. Now I'm at home on a Debian machine, but tomorrow I'll get back to work and have a look at the configure log file. I'll report that back...

Actually, libjpeg-6b-37 is the name of the libjpeg package . Hi, I'm a sysadmin living in Montpezat, South France. All our machines here are running CentOS 5, which is an exact clone of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.
