No, that's a detail of the nebula next to the Magni Sun.

Re: I'll need some help with the globular clusters

Thanks for the help, Luke. I'll give your generator a try for sure. I fixed the RA value and I really hoped this was the problem. Still nothing. Celestia can't even find it.

There is supposed to be a globular cluster here :(

By the way, I have Celestia Origin version 1.6.0.

I'll need some help with the globular clusters

Hello  Yesterday I was flying inside a couple of globular clusters, like 47 Tucanae, and I was thinking about making my own fictional clusters. I have a fictional system from the ArcBuilders Universe and I tried today to make a fictional globular cluster to fill the empty space around it with...

The Hill's Star Map

Hello  I want to recreate the alien star map that Betty Hill claimed she took from an alien. According to Barney and Betty Hill, they were abducted by extraterrestrials in a rural portion of the state of New Hampshire from September 19 to September 20, 1961. In 1968, amateur astronomer Marjor...

Re: Project "Celestia Origin", release dated December 30, 2017

Thanks to the Gaia satellite, the European Space Agency has dropped an enormous amount of data onto the scientific community. The location and position of 1.7 billion stars in the Milky Way, hundreds of thousands of asteroids, and more! :eh: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxgdcG_NQyA I wonder if it...

Re: Project "Celestia Origin", release dated December 30, 2017

I know. I just wonder if you're going to add real stars in this galaxy. By the way, are there any catalogues with actual information about real stars in this galaxy? Just curious.

Re: Project "Celestia Origin", release dated December 30, 2017

That project looks great. Thank you very much for your time. I hope I'll give it a try very soon. By the way, I noticed that you've placed real stars in various galaxies, which is very neat. I remember I had made an addon that adds fictional stars in Ursa Minor Dwarf Galaxy . I just wonder i...

Re: Space Engine

From what I have seen from pictures and videos, Space Engine looks amazing! Tons and tons of stars (not only on Milky Way, and maybe even more than No Man's Sky, but most of them fictional) with tons of planetary systems (again, most of them fictional), fully 3D planetary surfaces, space-time distor...

Re: Pictures from Celestia

Plenty of addons :) The white planet in the left lower of the screen is Planet X , with a texture that exist in Celestia. The green planet is Bonandi , that's now orbits around Planet X. I made the background by using some fictional nebulas . You can also see the California Nebula .

Re: New star generator for other galaxies... (work in progre

It is possible to use the new star generator for our galaxy as well? :o Of course. However, I don't want to build a stellar distribution for our Milky Way, to not interfere with the realistic stars there. Maybe for the unknown "quadran" behind the MW's galactic core, one of these days, bu...

3 years ago I tried to fill the Milky Way galaxy with stars, but the project was finally abandoned. It is possible to use the new star generator for our galaxy as well? :o
