Here, you might enjoy this. It's "Now We Are Free," composed by Hans Zimmer and sung by Lisa Gerrard.

Re: Gliese 581 c Texture
It says 'image not available"
Sorry about that. There was a problem with the website I uploaded my pictures to. I corrected the links on my first entry, they should work now.
Don. Edwards, do you have a download link for your red dwarf texture available?

Re: The Gliese 581 system
Fsgregs, please post the red dwarf texture. It looks great.
Also, since the Gliese system addon has consistently had twice the number of downloads as the texture addon, it will probably remain available for a long time to come.

Re: Gliese 581 c Texture
Basically, everyone is clueless as to what the surface actually looks like, or even what the rotational properties, actual size, etc. are, so I just threw something together that matched one of the theories.

Re: The Gliese 581 system
Well, I'm glad to see someone appreciates my hard work and talent! Jk. Had I known there was already ssc data available for this system, I would have merely created an AltSurface addon for "c." I laugh at myself for my lack of foresight. As it is, though, I'm glad I was given an excuse to spend the ...

Gliese 581 c Texture
This is my conception of what Gliese 581 c, the recently discovered Earth-like planet, may look like. Here are some screenshots of the texture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/bobdolesotherhat/Celestia/PLday.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/bobdolesotherhat/Celestia/plnight.jpg I'm ...

Re: The Gliese 581 system
Okay, I'm going to post the texture for Gliese 581 c in the Textures thread, so those of you who already have the updated extrasolar.ssc file won't have to download this. I may just remove the addon from the forum and only have the texture, if people would prefer that.

Re: The Gliese 581 system
But Gliese 581 with its planets is already part of Celestia distribution... Why not just modify c to add your texture? Is there something wrong with Grant's datas? concerning your shots, the blue atmosphere is a bit disturbing... is it supposed to be blue? The default Celestia distribution has only...

The Gliese 581 system
This is an addon of the Gliese 581 system, which has three planets orbiting a red dwarf, the second of which may be capable of supporting life. More information about the system can be found at http://www.solstation.com/stars/gl581.htm Here are the links to some screenshots I have of the system, nam...

Christou, I'd drool but that would ruin my computer. Very beautiful models. I can't wait til you finish.

My First Add-On (coming soon)
Hi, everybody. I'm relatively new to Celestia, I've only had the program for a few months. Nonetheless, I love to create new systems and have been working on one now for about five weeks. I am so pleased with it that I would like to share my add-on with the Celetia community. This is a very large an...

Alternate textures and Atmospheres
Hi, I'm new to Celestia and have just started modifying planets and stuff. My current project is terraforming Ganymede (yes, I'm aware how impractical that is, it's just for fun) and have a question. Is it possible to modify a planet or moon so that its alternate texture posseses an atmosphere but i...
