Re: Pointing Hubble
Hi, I have tried the INTEGRAL FOV add on. It work great. Chris post suggest to turn the model by 90 degree. I did not had to do that. I think the reason is that I use: Mesh "integral.cmod" # warning: 5MB Perhaps this model has other definition of axes then the model that Chris use. For example if yo...

Re: Pointing Hubble
Hi, there is a sketch of the FOV of INTEGRAL in: http://integral.esac.esa.int/AO4/AO4_Policies.pdf page 21 This sketch with numbers and explanations in my email should do it. The best will be to have lines drawn the same way the coordinate Ra Dec grid line are done. Tell me if this is sufficient or ...

Re: Pointing Hubble
Hi, I will love to have that for INTEGRAL. For INTEGRAL, the problem is simpler as if you download the files in my account http://isdc.unige.ch/~produit/celesia you will have always INTEGRAL pointing at the proper direction. So the FOV has a well defined direction (along the long axis of the satelli...

Re: Rotations
Hi, thanks to Chris I am able to run on Mac something that show version 1.4.2(0) I am able to load the .xyz file and the .q file for INTEGRAL. By the way they have to be in the data subdirectory otherwise they are not found (even if the ssc file is happy to be in extra/integral) using this .ssc: # T...

Re: Rotations
Hi, for the moment I use the orbit as found in the INTEGRAL plugin. I have not verified deeply if it is correct. I have access to real measured ephemeris of the trajectory. So I could provide .xyz files but they will be huge. I will do one orbit for checking. http://celestrak.com/NORAD/elements/scie...

Re: Rotations
Hi, thanks for your help. I have still trouble to compile under mac (I know linux better). at the make -f Makefile.cvs step it complains of missing: AM_GCONF_SOURCE_2 AM_PO_SUBDIRS AM_GNU_GETTEXT I have tried to deal with them (without understanding exactely what I was doing) and somewaht pass this ...

Re: Rotations
Hi, I am still interested in having INTEGRAL attitude right. I have created a tentative file of (two year worth of) attitude versus time in the format suggested in documentation (jd quaternion) it is in: http://isdcul3.unige.ch/~produit/celestia/ But I need to test it now. I did a checkout from sour...

Re: Orientation of spacecrafts [feature request]
Hi, as explained in: http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9658&highlight= I want to have correct attitude for INTEGRAL spacecraft in celestia. In this case attitude is very irregular (change every 20 minutes) but orbit is very stable. This is the case for all telescope in space (...

Re: Spacecraft Orientation
Hi, I am working for the INTEGRAL satellite. I was delighted to see a very good model of INTEGRAL in celestia adds on. The orbit seems reasonable. But the orientation of INTEGRAL is wrong. In fact it changes every 20 minutes and we don't know much in advance what it will be. The historical attitudes...
