Selden,
Up to the step where you say to install the new copy of Celestia in the "Celestia" folder understood. But then you say:
"Move your Addons at leisure"
How do I do that?
Thanks.

Updating Celestia/Question
I have a previous version of Celestia with tons of addons, custom textures, etc. How can I update to the latest version 1.3.2 without having to reinstall all of those addons, textures, etc? Thanks.

Re: earth16k ?
I'm from Argentina and the link works fine too.
By the way, in the "NewEarth4K.zip" file there is a "lights-aurora4k.jpg" file. Can anyone tell me how to edit the solarsys.ssc file so to include this aurora?
Thanks

Viewing Saturn/Neptune causes instability/crash
I have Celestia 1.3 in a P4/WinXP system with an ATI RADEON8500 128MB card amd latest Catalyst 3.4 drivers. Trouble is that when I want to see Saturn (ENTER Saturn, Goto), the surface texture is broken and the program halts, forcing me to shut it down. This only happens with Saturn and Neptune, the ...

Re: 1.3.0 Prerelease
Cris,
Everytime I try to change the Display Mode the program crashes, even if I try to toggle to full display. Also, something curious: everytime I select the Moon and clik "G" (GoTo command) the program also crashes.
Any feedback?

Jango,
"Conquest of Paradise" and "Pinta, Ni?a & Santa Maria" are two different songs that belong to the same album "1492"

Re: A picture of Apollo 11 on July 4, 1776
Anonymous said: Space is the ultimate in neutral territory. Then he went on saying: And don't forget, the Apollo astronauts went in peace for all mankind. Anonymous, you're 100% right on that! It is precisely because the (american) Apollo astronauts reached the moon and went in peace for all mankind...

I have WinXP, it never got to crash the PC, but the application did crash on several occassions when deactivating it. Aslo, I needed to reconfigure the background for the desktop as the application turns it black.

Yes I know, I was just wondering because Pioneer is a highly relevant historic probe as Voyager .

Re: Setting viewing locations in Celestia
Thanks Calculus, it's clear now. I'm in Buenos Aires. By the way, I checked your website, really nice snapshots of events. I tried replicating the eclipse for Iceland in 2003, I entered the following coordinates for Reijkavik: longitude -21.8 latitude 64.15, and the moon doesn't block the sun at the...

Re: Setting viewing locations in Celestia
Kendrix, Stargazer thanks for the info. I do know that Celestia is not intended to be a skychart and to that end I have Cartes du Ciel. I would still like to know the following: - My coordinates are 34 south and 58 West, do I have to indicate this with a minus sign before the numbers when using Kend...
