Re: Mushroom Kingdom/Super Mario World

Added half of Good Egg Galaxy. Was unable to work on much more due to IRL things and motivation running out thanks to earlier trial and error figuring out CMOD.

Re: Mushroom Kingdom/Super Mario World

1.2 Added Starship Mario!!! Starship Mario.png Journey with Lubba through the cosmos!!! Starship Reactor Core.png This will not need improvements as I managed to find a fix for a CMOD bug. Will probably add gateway galaxy and file select planetoids orbiting the Mushroom World as a second moon next. ...

Fix for decades old CMOD bug discovered

CMOD ever since it was developed almost 2 decades ago, has had a bug where one of the meshes is unable to be textured. I ran into this problem when I gave CMODing my first try and decided to brain storm several workarounds, eventually going for taking a simple triangle textured mesh and duplicating ...

Re: Mushroom Kingdom/Super Mario World

Rosalina 2.png 1.1 Added Rosalina's Observatory, Trial Planet, Reactor Core, and all. This was a CRASH COURSE in learning how CMODview worked. I discovered a workaround to a bug inherent in the program as well as how to get models to work and what works regarding transparency and most things dont l...

Mushroom Kingdom/Super Mario World

I was supposed to have this done by the first Mario movie but stuff got in the way. Now, I have finished version 1.0 of the Mario World ahead of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. MushBowser.png This addon places the Mushroom World in the Sombrero Galaxy. Type "MushroomStar" or "Mario Star...

Re: Grand Tour Ceres

I've looked into it and yes there is a dumb 180 degree misalignment between the places and the texture. I will fix this soon. (I wish it was caught way back cause I have ran into artblock with planetary projects recently)

Re: Grand Tour Martian Moons

Update in time for Hera's flyby of Deimos. Deimos has been upgraded to 16K thanks to discovering a mapped image of detail by Phil Stooke that ups it to that. Moons have also been correctly recolored to be darker.

Re: Grand Tour Saturn and the Icy Satellites

Recently I managed to get in touch with the writers of this paper https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0019103524005001?via%3Dihub They forked over to me a copy of their 16K map and shape model that it fits as well as two 2K topographic maps. After a couple months, learning how mod...

Re: Grand Tour Uranus and Neptune Satellites

This has been given a MAJOR update Normals have been edited to where there isn't a major cliff around mapped terrain anymore. All 6 round moons have had small amounts of terminator data excluded in original map data reintroduced. This is most notable on Miranda where a few new craters and cliffsides...

Re: Grand Tour Titan

In honor of the 20th year anniversary of Huygen's landing. I have recreated the cloud texture from scratch using Cassini imagery to 16K and realign the south polar vortex to rotate correctly. I have also added a couple faint clouds to the northern areas as well as a hint of transparency much as what...

Re: Grand Tour Jupiter

Some digging revealed there were pieces of a USGS map of Callisto that allowed 64K coverage of the moon. Finally some justice to Callisto!!! Color was made a bit more realistic and detailed. Galileo NIMS spectral maps added to it and Europa.

In 64K, isolated parts of Callisto imaged in high resolution by Galileo can now be viewed at max resolution

Re: Grand Tour Mars

16K dust has been added. The planet will be found completely covered in a global dust storm if time is changed to dates like early June 2018 or October 1971. Otherwise it will have a few regional dust storms by default. This makes the planet change and come alive when viewing addons for missions lik...
