Re: Bonestell & von Braun

Selden:
The models look fantastic!

I've been a space history buff all of my foolish life.

The Von Braun/Bonestall items are lovely.

Thanks for the hard work, can't wait to install them at my house.

I'm a little nervous...

I'm not sure I am up to the windows install of the patch.

If it crashes celestia, Will I be able to un- do it? (the patch)?

I have a boat-load of add ons and I'm getting lazy about re-installing them all is I have to do a complete re-install.

How often do you use/play with Celestia?

Hi, I'm spending yet another afternoon zooming around the Heavens.

I find that I'm looking at Celestia almost daily.

And I was wondering how often others indulge their habits?

Re: I can't change the month setting in "time" menu

Selden;
Thanks again. I do love this program and when I love something the learning curve usually flattens out, but,....there is a LOT to learn about Celestia!

O/T I'm going to drop the Louis Wu 'nome de plume.

I'd rather just be Steve, do I need to set up a new message board account?

Re: I can't change the month setting in "time" menu

Selden; I just tried the numeral as the month...and that works too....

Ok, now I'm really embarrassed....thank you both for the help.

I'll just go lie down by my dish now......

I can't change the month setting in "time" menu

I'm running Win 98 Pent III 320Mg of ram. KDS 445 on an ATI 3D Rage Pro (ATIR3) Celstia ver.1.40. I can change the day, and the year, but no matter what I do I cannot change the month. Celstia will only let me use the main keyboard numerals, (the keypad will not work) Caps lock:off/on, Num lock off/...

Re: A taste of my next add on

Buggs; I am running "Mira" it's pretty cool except for the Ball-like nubula cloud. I might not have enough resolution to get it to work properly. I do want to thank you and the other developers for all the hard work you put in to Celestra add-ons. I am enjoying your work! You have made this boy very...

It's funny, I was just reading Niven's "Neutron Star" The book that contains the story about Beta Lyrae.."The soft Weapon" Celestia has me dragging out all my old Niven books, dreaming of flying around Like Beowulf Schaeffer or Louis Wu... louis

Known Space?

Hi folks, I have been looking around all week and can't find any add-ons relating to Larry Niven's "Known Space" novels.

Is there anybody out there who might know of some?

Thanks,

I've loaded(and tried to load) tons of addons and I'm realising how much I forgot about working with files in windows..yikes! But Celestia has reminded me how much I love the stars, so I'm glad I fo...
