Continuing the idea of using alternate galaxies, is it possible to replace the references in the navigation menu from Sol to Origin? I looked into it and found that translations substituted strings for "Select _Sol" and changing that string in the source would break all of the translations...

What changes are required to addons that work well on 1.6.1 so they also work on 1.6.2?

Additionally what changes are required for addons that work on 1.6.2 to work on 1.7.0?

It works fine.

What is the path to get Celestia back into the debian distribution?
I read that there were issues with licenses for some textures.

The Motherload is hosted on ibiblio.org, so quality of hosting is not apparently the issue.

Bit rot of the files is an issue.
