Hi,
Thank you Adironback.
Switching off the clouds makes the satellites appear normal on my system too.
I hope it'll help to fix the problem.
Bye,

Labels overlay on Moon
Hi, I thought that the labels on the moon were designed to not overlay each other. Meanwhile, here is what I've got (using only locations files provided with basic package of course) : http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/2580/loar4fb.jpg Hard to read indeed ! Bye, Brokfn

Re: Satellites stay brightly lit when passing through shadows...
Have you tried adjusting the AmbientLightLevel?
A value of 100 makes things very bright, and the menu doesn't always fix it.
I tried: no effect.

Re: 1.4.1pre2 : bugs
Hi,
The levels 11 and 12 of the virtual textures don't show up with the version of Celestia available here: http://www.celestiaproject.net/~claurel/celest ... -1.4.1.exe
They did with 1.4.0.
I hope it's not the final release !

Re: Satellites stay brightly lit when passing through shadows...
Selden, I'm afraid we're not talking about the same problem. Here is how Hubble is rendered by my machine with Open GL vertex program / NVIDIA combiners : [img=http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/9543/hubblefall5wg.jpg] And now, here is how it looks with basic render path : url=http://imageshack.us][...

Hi,
Could you please explain why this limitation doesn't appear with Cassini ?

Re: Satellites stay brightly lit when passing through shadows...
Yes!
At last, someone who has the same problem as me!
On my machine, it happens all the time (with Hubble for example), except when I turn the render path to basic or multitexture.

Hi,
The limite-of-knowledge maps work just fine for me.
But I'm sorry to confirm what jdou said: no level 11/12 with virtual textures on my machine neither.

Re: 1.4.1pre2 : bugs
Hi,
I don't have any problem when using arrow keys to set time.
But when using the mouse to select hours pe minutes, there is one : try to do what I described in my first post. I'm running Windows XP by the way.

Hi,
So pre2 is out, and everything seems to work well.
But the set time bug is still there : click on hours and then click on minutes and see what happens...
Is it really hard to fix ?

Re: Bugs in 1.4.1pre1
Hi,
I just wanted to point out that the "K" bug (see second post on this thread) DID NOT happen with 1.4.0.
I also confirm there's no way to see levels 11 and 12 on virtual textures.

Re: Bugs in 1.4.1pre1
Hi, There's still a problem with the set time menu. Suppose you want to change the minutes: click on the minutes and focus comes to them: ok. Then you change your mind and want to change the hours: click on the hours and see what happens. Instead of coming to the hours, focus is on hours, minutes an...
