Re: Celestia 1.7.0 Development Thread
Hello Markerz, Thank you very much for committing the files. Thanks, Sui! It is great help. I'll integrate it in my fork for now, since your translation is based on my fork. which has a little difference from the main repo. The specific differences are the new introduced strings of "Hong Kong&q...

Re: Celestia 1.7.0 Development Thread
Hello, Once I had translated .po files of Celestia to Japanese. I have been away from Celestia for years, but the new version of Celestia is coming, so I want to update ja.po files for 1.7.0. I attached the archive of ja.po files in /po/ and /po3/ (the one in /po2/ has nothing to do, so not containe...

Re: Square stars / no stars in 1.5.0 on Mac ?
Could you reply to this post with the contents of your OpenGL Info? (In Celestia, Help > OpenGL Info menu) A workaround for ATI cards will be in the next update to Celestia as Chris mentions, but this is being done case-by-case, based on information listed in OpenGL Info. OK, here it is: Vendor: AT...

Re: osX users: star class
Sui: ElChristou's right, while the OS X browser has shortcomings I feel that we should begin focusing our efforts on the new cross-platform UI. Yes, I've felt unconvenient for the Browsers of the OS X.... So the cross platform UI seems to be a good solution (but I'm not familiar with that...) :?

The bug which I once had pointed out and had adressed by Christophe is reappeard... :( Sui, The bug you're having will have more chance to be fixed if you open a bug report on the Sourceforge tracker and assigne it to Christophe (aka christey). I don't know how to use SourceForge, but I'll try it. ...

Re: Celestia 1.5.0 prerelease 5
Sorry, the bugs fix I noticed were not done. I deluded myself. But these bugs can be fixed to do this: ( Red characters are to be added) in winssbrowser.cpp, line 115 ... string starNameString = UTF8ToCurrentCP( u->getStarCatalog()->getStarName(*(solarSys->getStar())) ) ; ... in winstarbrowse...

Re: Post Bugs Here
Sui, I don't see this problem on my PowerBook with 10.4.9. I do however have issues with star glare size abruptly changing as I move past 1 ly from a star. I think there's a graphics firmware update for your iMac model. It ought to appear in your mac's software update app if your model is eligible ...

It happenes with 'points'.
In addition, using 'fuzzy points' or 'scaled discs', any stars except near the camera don't shown, on OpenGL vertex program or OpenGL 2.0.

Re: Lua Edu Tools beta version
Playing with the Lua Edu Tools, I found a bug:
When I go to surface of an object, then I enabled compass, the display of the Tools behave strangely.
This occurs only just after launching Celestia; Going to surface after enabling compass has no problem.

Yes, I've thought so too.
With my not so wide display, I can't see the new posts without scrolling...
Some of sticky posts should be moved or be turned into normal posts.
