Ok,
problem is solved when I change the res. from 1152x864 / 16Bit to 1024x768 / 16Bit

I've got exactly the same problem on my system and only on spacecraft objects.

System:
Win98SE, AMD2200+, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 128MB (last driver), DirectX9.0c, Celestia 1.3.2
