Re: Celestia Images Hosting.

Thanks for the log in tip for uploading images. Have a great day. Carl Update tip. I just found out that you can only upload 5 at a time. I had just updated and added notes on 8 that I was going to upload. It took the first 5, and then informed me of the limit on the back end of the process. So only...

Re: Celestia Images Hosting.

I could not use it either. I tried about a week ago. I could view some images. But I was unable to do anything else. I was thinking I have a few I would like to post. But that is not going to happen now. Maybe it makes sense. Images can quickly fill up server space, and that can cost money.

Re: Project "Celestia Origin", release dated December 30, 2017

First thoughts after download and install of Celestia Origin. I wish to thank Art Blos and Janus for their help. uTorrent worked to download, but I uninstalled it. I was playing Borderlands last night, and it suddenly had a random bug of going to a black screen. I uninstalled uTorrent, and that fixe...

Thank you Janus. I will be certain to do check it out. This RT that I found has failed. I will check what Art mentioned as well as what you have indicated.

Re: Project "Celestia Origin", release dated December 30, 2017

This is great! Thank all of you for doing this work. Question: Does this include the newer classes of stars such as the Y-Class. An example would be WISE 1828+2650, as mentioned in this article: https://www.space.com/12714-coldest-failed-stars-brown-dwarfs-wise.html I am getting ready to rebuild my ...

Re: New Celestia Website and new Forum design

Thank you Chuft-Captain. That was very helpful. You are correct about how the formatting buttons work. I did not understand the procedure. I thought that I could highlight the text, then select the color I wanted, then click enter. I will save your instructions for future use in my notes. Thanks aga...

Re: New Celestia Website and new Forum design

I like it. The contrast is good. It is easier for me to read. The appearance is good as well. I have just logged in and this is my first time seeing the new site. This is my first impression comments. Overall, it looks like a great job. Thank you all for the hard work. REF: Dark Red on Dark Grey bac...

Old Versions Of Celestia?

Hi, I'm a Celestia cyber packrat. Besides Sourceforge, I have those programs in the following order: 1.1.4, 1.2.4, 1.2.5, 1.3.0, 1.3.1-1, 1.3.2pre8, 1.3.2pre10, and the more recent ones. I'm not sure why you would want to use those older programs. Many addons will not work, and the older the program...

Chelyabinsk Alexell

I have used this add on earlier this year when I was off on medical leave. It worked good. I set myself to follow close behind, then sped up time, and slowed time, and paused time. I also adjusted my frame of reference many times. When using this addon, I would highly recommend a high resolution map...

Cham's download links

Cham's work is stellar. So for people like me, this is why the thread. Too bad the links are all dead. Disappointed I can't see more of Cham's work. I do have several addons of Cham's that are great.

Ubuntu Celestia Kubuntu

Hello, I would like to thank everyone that helped tech2000. Because all of you helped me as well. I am running Kubuntu 7.04 on a AMD64 cpu with 2 gig of ram, and a Nvidia 7600 card. And I was like a wave pounding on the rocks. That was what I felt like trying to get Celestia running with spacecraft,...

This is awesome! When I was young, these books and paintings enabled my imagination to take wing away from the holler in eastern Appalachia. I am very much looking forward to the completion of your most excellent work. Thank you for doing this. p.s. holler is local term for a valley, or a small vall...
