Where will the announcment that version 1.0.4 has been released be posted?

I'm probably going to make myself another high-profile enemy :roll: . Toofri, while I do agree that the question was a wee bit absurd (of course we could, given enough time, map and render the whole galaxy, it's wrather like the monkeys and their typewriters with Shakespear), you seem to have..........

Forgive my undoubtedly asinine query, but is it confirmed that 1.4 will be realeased? If so, I think I might wet my pants.

Are the aforementioned tasks particularly difficult?

So, why don't a consortium of theese volunteers meet and begin development on the next version without Chris (but still get his OK for any major additions/revisions in the code)?

I think I get the message. Thier is no work being done on the next version, is there? And where is this "Chris" guy everyone keeps talking about?

Well, did it run away, did it die, or is the next Celestia release still being developed?

er...just two quick questions here: what is Solaris, what is so great about Mac, and are either free?

Ok, I used Jens for pluto and jestr for Charon. But jestr's charon just has the image, no bump map. Is this going to cause problems when I switch up the texture files fo Charon? Oh, and what exactly DO I do with Bump Maps? Where do i put them, what are they for?

I don't get it. Thier is no alternate textures for Pluto or Charon on either of theese pages.

I know this probably sounds just a bit whiney, but is there any alt. textures for Pluto and Charon? They look pretty silly as they are now (well, IMHO, at least).

So...Can I just unzip the addon, in the appropriate folder, or do I have to manhandle some code?

What does "VT" mean? What do I have to download in order to go BELOW the clouds and land on the Earth's surface?
