The workstation with the textures has a bad boot drive, i am waitting for parts .

if it has a ring then it might be a graphics issue , ie your 3d card/driver

or it might be a issue with your ssc file

but without more information it is near impossible to diagnose

Apple is a BSD ( Berkley Software Distribution) type of operation system and as such is in the UNIX family

dose not go in the data folder , it goes in "SpiceSolarSystem"

only the spice kernels go in " data"

you also need to make sure that the Apple version of Celestia is built with spice enabled

i do not use apple so i do not know if it is or not

if you use " G'Mic " to convert a tiff to raw , the terminal code has changed in the current release

a few things would help

what exactly did you install ?
1.61 or 1.62 or from github?
also what Operating system is this ?
linux? apple ? windows ?

Press the " i " button to turn on/off the clouds
